We all must play nice at times; even rage-bound Kaguya elite. Gekkido walked about the streets of Kirigakure, disguised in rather normal villager attire to hide is ethnicity. He’d taken up an assignment to do various small and petty tasks for the Mizukage in order to earn “brownie points” for his clan in the sight of the higher-ups. Participation is the beginning of relationships, and for the time being, a relationship with the Mizukage was what his clan needed to continue living in the peace and privilege this wonderful village provided its inhabitants. An academy student went missing roughly an hour ago and his unit was called in. Gekkido still carried a child-likeness within himself, and thus was not at all worried about tracking down the misfit. He himself had many a time moved to such acts of rebellion and triviality. Walking through the crowds, he seamlessly made a sharp right turn into a small gutter area in between a ramen restaurant and a hair salon. Unbenounced to most, there was a back room connected to the ramen restaurant where the main chef kept old samurai swords and other artifacts from days of old. He had snuck back there some time ago when he was younger. He pushed against the side of the wall, the secret entrance, and opened to the room where he had suspected to find the youngster. Low and behold, as he walked in he came face to face with a boy no older than 12 holding in his arms five, maybe even six swords that covered his body from abdomen to eyes. It was clear that the bandit had been caught just as he was making his grand escape. Gekkido shot the child a smirk as the swords dropped from the young boy’s hands and a frown replaced the devilish grin that he’d been at first met with. The boy hung his head low, knowing his time of arbitrage was up. He took Gekkido’s hand and the chunin led the academy student back to class, humbly reminiscing on younger days. | |
