Sage Mode



Sage Mode is an empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with  some of one's chakra, creating senjutsu chakra. Sage Mode allows users to tap into the natural force of the world, opening up new techniques to them and allowing them to power up existing ones with the new senjutsu chakra. Sage Mode is known to be taught in the realm of summoning jutsu, even if one does not have a Sage Mode associated with summoning.

In this realm one will be taught to perfectly master, use, and absorb the natural energies of the world in a attempt to make Senjutsu Chakra through the process of awakening Sage Mode.

In order to enter Sage Mode, the user must remain absolutely still in order to be one with nature and balance the natural energy with their own physical and spiritual energies, therefore converting their own chakra to that of senjutsu chakra. (LOOK ABOVE TO SEE THE CONVERTING REQUIREMENT.)If the user puts too little natural energy into  the technique will not work. Conversely, if too much natural energy is taken in (Attempting to tap into reserves higher then the users current skill level in Senjutsu), their body will turn to stone forever; humans will also be transformed into whichever animal/beast type summoning school the senjutsu was learned from.

Each version of Sage Mode a possess multiple ranks and levels of power one can access. This ranks of power range from D-S rank with each rank gaining more and more power than the last. To access each rank of Sage Mode one must meet the post count equirements for it as if it was a jutsu. (Cannot be purchased with EXP)

While in Sage Mode:

The user's physical strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, perception, and durability are enhanced.

The user's ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu become more powerful.

The user can manipulate natural energy to do various things:

- Those who have mastered the Sage Techniques of both Non Summoning and Animal/Beast based summoning type have been shown the ability to turn the natural energy around them into an extension of their body to increase the reach of their attacks.

- Those who have mastered the Sage Techniques of the Animal /Beast based summoning types have shown the ability to use natural energy to breathe life into inorganic substances and control them.

-  The user can sense chakra around them and can sense attacks without the need to see them.

When facing an opponent that can drain chakra, this can prove to be fatal to the opponent if they absorbed too much chakra and will be turned to stone if they haven't had training with Sage Mode in the past (follows the rule of sage mode activation).

Furthermore, the user of Sage Mode can hold still to absorb more natural energy for the opponent to absorb and turn their own chakra absorption against them.

The user can also replenish their senjutsu chakra reserves by returning back to the stance to gather and create chakra, or summoning SHADOW CLONES to ultimate gather the Senjutsu Chakra themselves.

To use a Senjutsu technique itself one must pay for it from the Senjutsu Chakra they have charged and stored up. In addition when a user preforms a normal jutsu in the three catagorys of skill (Nin, Tai, and Gen), the user can apply Senjutsu Chakra into the techniques, essentially causing the strength of the skill becomes one rank higher than its normal state in comparison to normal chakra using jutsu. (I.E Rasengan which is normally Deals A Rank damage will now be capable of dealing S Rank Damage.) In this instance the cost of the jutsu comes from the senjutsu pool instead of normal chakra reserves.

In some cases when using senjutsu chakra to enhance normal jutsu, it allows the user to enhance the jutsu even further allowing the technique to do something other than its intended or usage. (I.E Naruto being able to throw the Rasenshuriken) (The change or re purposing must be included on jutsu application before preformed in battle!!!!)



Types of Sage Mode:


Summoning Based Sage Modes



This form of Sage mode is the most traditional form in the world of ninjas. This form essentially allows one to learn Sage Mode Directly from their contracted Summoning Jutsu animal or beast. Upon first achieving this form of Sage Mode the user will transform and exhibit the abilities and traits and sometimes the appearance of the summoning in which they had a contract with although this requires their summoning to make physical contact with the user and also help them gather senjutsu chakra. (I,E if your summoning contract happens to be a Cheetah on of the abilities you may possess may include something with its great speed... Upon Reaching the power of an A Rank Sage mode the user will no longer require their summonings help to access their racial specific abilities.)

Considering this form of Sage Mode requires the user to have a summoning contract with a summoning jutsu the Rank of the beast must be equivalent to the rank of sage mode the user intends to access. Considering this form uses an outside source to help master the Sage Mode the Word Requirements for the training for this form is deducted by 2 Posts for the ranks of A and S. If user fuses with their summoning or possesses Sage of Sixth Paths Chakra they will also be able to use jutsu related to both of those sources while in sage mode. 

Boost to stats and abilities for each rank are as stands:

D Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 10 meters around them. Adds 25 Chakra to their normal chakra pool and boosts all stats by 5.

C Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 50 meters around them. Add 50 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 10. Allows the user to obtain one ability or trait from their summoning jutsu animal/beast.

B Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 75 meters around them. Adds 75 chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stat by 15. Allows the user to obtain one ability/trait from their summoning jutsu animal/beast.

A Rank Sage Mode: Allows for the user to sense 100 meters around them. Adds 100 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 20. Allows the user to  obtain two abilities/traits from their summoning jutsu animal/beast.

S Rank Sage Mode: Allows for the user to sense 125 meters around them. Adds 125 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 30. Allows the user to obtain three abilities/traits from their summoning jutsu animal/beast.

Non-Summoning Based Sage Modes




This form of Sage mode is extremely rare to most ninja of the world. It is incredibly difficult to master but is much stronger then summoning based sage modes. While in this mode the user gains a one tier boost to any area of thier skill system that they choose. (I.E. Ninjutsu Skill goes from Master to Grand Master.) This form of sage mode also allows the user to activate this skill within powerful forms such as Bijuu Chakra Cloaks or Tenseigan Chakra Cloaks. While in use with Bijuu Chakra Cloaks one must have first completely mastered and have grown a friendship with the Bijuu. If a friendship has been established the user's Bijuu can continue to gather senjutsu chakra inside the host maintaining the form for longer periods of time. Considering this form Sage Mode is much difficult to master then the last, one who seeks to master Non-Summoning based Sage Mode must add on 2 post count required to learn each rank of A-S. **This does NOT allow one to have additional abilities when making a custom form of this sage mode, UNLESS that form is registered as a LIMITED technique**


Boost to stats and abilities for each rank are as stands:

D Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 30 meters around them. Adds 50 Chakra to their normal chakra pool and boosts all stats by 10

C Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 60 meters around them. Add 100 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 20

B Rank Sage Mode = Allows for the user to sense 90 meters around them. Adds 150 chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stat by 30

A Rank Sage Mode: Allows for the user to sense 120 meters around them. Adds 175 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 40

S Rank Sage Mode: Allows for the user to sense 125 meters around them. Adds 200 Chakra to their normal chakra pool, boosts all stats by 50

Jugo Clan Sage Modes




The Jugo Clan does not have their own signature Sage Mode state. In fact they have the choice of mastering both forms of Sage Mode at once. While the Jugo Clan does not have a specific and signature Sage Mode they do have their own specific perks to the Sage Mode path they choose. Because of the Jugo Clans natural ability of absorbing Senjutsu Chakra they have the ability to stay in sage mode forms for as long as they desire and do not have to remain still or hold the traditional pose to gather the chakra. Since the Jugo Clans normal chakra reserve have been replaced and completely turned into Senjutsu Chakra, upon entering both states of Sage Mode the users chakra pools are doubled. In addition, just these senjutsu chakra reserves do not limit the members to only senjutsu techniques they still are capable of using normal jutsu. Because of this limitation upon entering Sage Mode also allows people of this clan to properly control their states of blood lust and rage.
