The fall of Black Sun was fated from the very beginning. A small organization of small criminals with such a lofty goal was doomed to fail from the beginning, this fact not helped any by the powerful resistance put up by the Shinobi of the world. With the group failing in each village that they attacked, it was only natural that they would fizzle out into nothingness. With the fall of Black Sun came the downfall of many minor lands each either overtaken or destroyed from within. Takigakure fell a the hands of a rampage by a one time ally of their Second Takikage, Roku Enzoka. The other minor nations fell at the might of The Land of Iron and their Shogun, Hiroshige. Kumogakure fell at the hands of one of their own shinobi, by the name of Kozai. He destroyed the nation after learning their most sacred jutsu. But, one of the most notable losses, was the fall of the once noble village of Iwagakure. Nothing left there but piles of ash and broken down buildings, though in the crater of what was once the Tsuchikage's tower is now the mouth of a deep and hazardous cave. Upon exploration into said cave, there appears to be an ancient and well hidden labyrinth created by some ancient people. Once one makes it to the end of said labyrinth, they would find a large, black obelisk covered in ancient markings and symbols vaguely similar to a few modern day seals. If one pushes 1,000 chakra into said monument, they will find themselves transported to the moon where an ancient clan now flourishes. Is this clan hostile? Is the portal a one way trip? Only one way to find out.
(OOC: Alright, we ask that everyone do a flashback topic of at LEAST five normal length posts (200 words)to describe what your character did during the FIVE-YEAR timeskip.
Secondly, to those who wish to enter into the Moon, there are a couple of requirements for your first time going there. (1. You must have AT LEAST 1,100 chakra to enter. 2. You must make a topic with at LEAST five posts of finding the cave and going through the maze, then arriving on the moon.)
Thirdly, the gifts and compensation for the five year timeskip are as follows: +2 ranks (Genin - Jonin; NOT ANBU/Kage/other important positions.) +50,000 exp, +3 tiers if applicable. If tiers are NOT applicable to you as in, you are already S-1, you may opt for an extra rank as stated above, or three free rolls in the Activity Event.
Fourthly, Anyone who is or.. was.. a member of Kumogakure or any Minor nation will be given full amnesty to relocate to any of the villages on Earth that are remaining, though you will lose one of your free ranks.
Finally, the activity event will continue, with a few minor changes! We will be removing a few of the exp awards and replacing them with some more coupons to be used! So please continue your activity! Thanks to everyone!)
Additional note concerning the conditions on the moon: The moon itself is perfectly habitable and has similar if not equal gravity to the earth. The climate is generally cool, close in general temperatures to what would be expected in places such as Kirigakure. The general flora is also similar to the earth with the hidden village actually being inside of one of the craters. There are farms where crops similar/exactly like those grown on earth are planted and the governmental system is almost exactly like a normal village on earth. Though there are no animals on the moon, any summons/familiars must be brought from the earth and those who begin on the moon or move to the moon through any method must go back to earth to get a familiar, though there are summons available on the moon. (For a summon to be available on the moon, simply add that into the story on your summons scroll.)
