Boyfriend and Girlie
Oh boy. Gekkido felt a bit tentative about leading around this couple. They were around his age and had fled from a small village and eloped here in Kirigakure. Apparently they had plans to stop and raise a family. Gekkido chose to lead them to the mall and other fun places where he knew they’d enjoy their short time here. It was clear to him from hearing their story that they would not last long, and had no plans of actually affording anything they would need in order to remain independent. He thought of leading towards the homeless shelter but he found that a bit too sarcastic. The mall was fun, as expected. The young girl certainly found her niche in the food court where the mingling and talking of young people was to be found continually. The young man surprisingly was taken by the theater the mall offered. Most fun activities in kirigakure involved water, but he could tell it was not their thing. Not wanting to force anything, he led them to the places within the mall he thought they’d enjoy most. They left the mall and headed towards the water park where mingling of all kinds could be found, especially at night. He figured this was a place where meeting people would be easier for them since everyone here was given a kind of benefit of the doubt; social proof, if you will. He was so thankful that the couple was easy to entertain, lord knows Gekkido was not an expert at the kind of fun most people his age were. As they were at the water park, apparently a band and crew came for a small concert that night. No one was more excited than Gekkido who knew this was his chance for the tour to end and for the festivities to take over. As the music played he quietly retreated and allowed a group of people he introduced the to the couple to take his place in making them feel welcomed, accepted, and entertained.
