Personality: Shinsui is a power-hungry traitor, even from years prior when he was still considered a Konoha, then, Chowagakure, shinobi, he was well known as one who would kill an ally to steal their power for his own. There was but one thing he valued above all else, the power held in the nine-tailed wolf. Though the wolf is no longer on this plane of existence, he had heard tales of its successor, the nine-tailed fox, being equally, perhaps even more powerful. So, he spent the last twenty years of his life tracking down the beast, setting things up so he could steal it and use it for himself. Just when he almost had it in his grasp, the wily Hokage transferred it from the host he had poisoned to another host that was then put into hiding for seven long years. But, the moment it came out of hiding, he started to track it down. He managed to track it to a massive island that seemed to drift through the sea on its own, it had taken him two years, but he managed to track it down and now he would attack it. 

Shinsui is a very arrogant and self-assured man. He will often let his guard down because of how he feels that he is physically superior to any opponent he may face. Though he is so confident and cocky, he often initiates his attacks as traps or underhanded tactics to get what he wants.
