Another Uninteresting Thing [P | FF?]

The wandering warrior could feel that his times within the village of sand were drawing to a close. That was not to say that he would not return though. In fact he was quite certain that he would be back without too much of a delay. There was something about this place that attracted him. Perhaps it had something to do with the lovely, though exceedingly rare, flowers that sprouted up within the dead moments of the night, tucked behind corners and down alleyways. If he were honest though it was almost certainly the people here, few though they were. He had little in the way of desire to spread forth the power of Suna, but he did enjoy that they were down for a fight. He would need that were he to collect the things that he wanted.

He was now wandering by moonlight, his roaming taking him deep into the heart of the desert whereupon he found very little to do aside from look deeply upon the flower of a giant cactus. It was a large bloom, blood red like the man’s eyes and full of huge petals, many of them flowing out in a radial pattern like an exploding sun. As he gazed upon the central yellow which represented the pollen centers of the blossom he felt himself calm and become more focused as he reflected upon his current wishes and desires, as well as the events which happened within the village most recently.

Soon enough his mind drifted away from the present moment, the relative coolness of the desert night passing over his flesh in a wave of chill. He became slowly unfocused on the present moments and, instead, fell inward, his own personal rhythm of chakra serving to continue to sooth his mind into a form of soft serenity. He continued to contemplate the most recent events within this village, that fantastical attack by towering monstrosities which destroyed large segments of the buildings that the people had so painstakingly built. And to what end had that organization which he had investigated chose to attack? The Black Sun, as it were. He had no idea. Perhaps he would never comprehend the madness of ninja.

These events were interesting, to say the least, as they hinted at something larger going on. There were more than just the 2 bijuu that attacked the village of sand, and while he had come to understand that the village already had another beast under its control, that would leave six more. And Black Sun, that odd grouping of outcasts, still had more members that a simple shark man who died so quickly. Other attacks, like those that had come before, would likely come for the other villages as well. Perhaps -even likely- similar, though who was to say? He thought, briefly, that he may like to see them but shook the thought quickly.

No, it was not that he would like to see those giant beasts of energy and hate once again; they were a ninja creation and one that he had little care for whatsoever. True as it may be that fighting one of the humans to whom it had been bound may be fun, he had better things to occupy his time and such a skirmish would simply be a lucky, happy accident. No, while fighting those people may be nice, it would be costly and time consuming, luxuries he may not have a great deal of being time and energy. Besides, a nation wide attack may be the perfect opportunity for him to acquire those treasures which he so wanted. Best, then, to depart the sand village for parts unknown, either to hunt those treasures of the forests or those of the mist.
