Yori followed him out, and once they were out of the musty cave she clasped her hands behind her back and sauntered to the well-worn path that lead to the gate. A thoughtful expression shadowed her features. Repayment...what sort of thing would a girl hoping to foster a new friendship ask for? Nothing embarrassing or dangerous. The fact that she had to rule that out was insightful that experience making friends was unfamiliar. Awkward. Had she made a single friend that she hadn't been forced to work with?

"Uh..." she stalled, brow very slightly furrowing inward in the effort it took to find an option that wasn't weird. Perhaps she was overthinking it. "Miso soup," Yori blurted out just as it occurred to her. She had mentioned it and he said that sounded good, so he must like it too. A shared preference was a good place to start, right? "You can repay me by enjoying some with me someday. Hopefully soon?"

Giving her a moment in thought, he would tilt his head to the side with that smile still on  his face. After a patient wait a moment, she suddenly let the words "Miso Soup" slip from her lips, as if she just had it at a sudden notice and couldn't wait to get it out. Equal exchange without a doubt, exposure in exchange for a bowl of soup, but if that was what made her happy, who was he to rain on her parade? "Sounds like a plan." The Ayano announced before then turning back on her and looking back towards the village. Oh yeah, this was definitely home.

When she asked if it could happen sometime soon, he reciprocated the line with his own. "Count on it." Hibiya replied casually, walking a few steps forward before stopping for a moment before the moment could slip away. "I'll see you around in the village, take it easy." With that, he plucked the white magnolia from his pocket and looked at it one more time. Something about it felt ominous, it was as if he could see if reflection inside the beautiful white flowers. It was nothing too important for him other than a momento, but maybe it'll help him out some time. Placing his palms back in his pocket, he proceeded to walk back into the village. His family is waiting for him.
