Garbage Four
The one hundreth floor once more; oh how he loved the walk. He took the trash and then allowed his mind another healthy dose of rumination as he headed down to the floor beneath. The next memory that came to mind that was in need of reforming was a childhood crush he'd had. A crush where he was three years younger than the young lady, but shared with her a kind of connection and compatability that he could only describe as meant to be. He loved and cherished this girl, but found himself fighting to be relevant in her life amid all the other boys chasing her who were older. Gekkido could remember being so enveloped in his goals and aspirations at the time. So alone and defenseless at the time, he was the perfect canidate to be a victim of love. The girl and he were off and on naturally, and him being much younger played its part no doubt. More than anything, however, he remembers the hurt he felt when she abruptly ended their relationship and began two others among his peers. He recalled it was this particualr time that he shut down from socializing at a grandscale and retreated within himself with feelings of hatred and resentment. Self-deprecation was no doubt an included ingredient in the poison of bitterness he drank for those feew years. He was such a unique soul, so different from those around him. Such difficulty in expressing his emotions and his inner feelings. He kept them therefore, and no longer sought outlets to express them or open up to anyone around him. This small but powerful emotional movement was yet another he'd need to reconcile with himself before making a full pursuit for his destiny. He was about to awaken within him a person who'd been hidden there all along; but the walls of pain and confusion within would need to be broken if this was to happen. Self-love was a wierd thing for a person like Gekkido to think about, but he would need to grow in it if he was to every give himself permission to be as great as he could be. Such deep thoughts for taking out the trash right? Well one hundred flights of stairs afforded him this kind of thing. He reached the bottom of the building just as he reached the apex of thought. Dropping the trash, he briskly returned up the stairs to meet the lady above for tea and talk. He loved talking with older people more than he liked talking with people his own age; perhaps it was the vanity, or maybe just the fact that they were honest.
