Appearance: Goken is the oldest Samurai in the land of Iron if not, one of the oldest. He has the appearance of an old man with red eyes, a very long white beard, and long eyebrows. There are many scars on his torso and head, the two most prominent being a pair of long, perpendicular scars above his right eye, left by his battle with his colleague. He wears a standard Samurai uniform, but its size is greatly exaggerated. He drapes his haori over his back instead of actually wearing it. Despite his old and frail appearance, he has a very muscular body which he only reveals when he goes to battle, something which other Samurai claims is not seen too often. His weapon, the Noble Katana is hidden within his wooden walking stick. The walking stick itself is very old and mishapen in appearance. There is a rounded top which tapers to the point where he rests it on the ground.

Personality: Goken is the very embodiment of Shimogakure law and order. He is The embodiment of conviction, Goken follows the laws and regulations of Shimogakure to the letter, and expects the same of others. He is not a man to tolerate insubordination, and is vocal with those who attempt to act in such a manner. He is quick to anger in the face of possible betrayal and can be quite aggressive in combat. He has a habit of referring to those he faces in battle as "youngster", and he refers to a battle as a "beating" or "punishment". When in a state of peace, he carries himself with an air of frailty, to the point where he fell asleep standing while awaiting his wife's arrival for a meeting. Due to years of experience, Goken very rarely shows any sign of distress or surprise, usually responding by opening one or both of his eyes, which are partially closed slits for the majority of the time. He would also get extremely angry if a Samurai does not take care of his appearance and especially the cleanliness of his sword.
Character History: Goken's history is so long compared to others, it would be best to put it into a summary. Goken as a child grew up during the time of great strife and war in the land of Iron. Shinobi invaded the land of Iron to steal the ledendary swords of the Samurai for their own gain. Primarily, it was Kiri that spearheaded the invasion during the time of the Second Hokage. It was noticed by Goken how the shinobi would come and massacre his home and take advantage of the weak. It as from youth, he expressed the desire to harness the power of Gods to humiliate and persecute shinobi. To do that he would need great power. He amassed great power but was eventually subdued by the five Kage at once who sealed his powers forever. Now as an aged man, he founded the ability to once again make his power great. He will slay those that took his power and has found an even greater power. One that could bring the world to ashes.
