Appearance:
Well its pretty obvious that when you get a gander at Ozai that the dude is some kind of shark freak. His list of extraordinary features is kinda long due to his lineage and often it causes people to avoid him. His skin is that of a murky grey color similar to a pool of water that warrants you to stray away from it. This color coats every last scale of his body but lightens to a brighter white as it gets to his abdominal area. Three feathery slits that protrude on either side of his neck make up his gills. The last of his genetics that shows its self are a pair of beady goldish eyes with vertical pupils equipped with double eyelids allowing him to see underwater clearly.

Now on to the features that make him humanish. His hair is jet black in color and long enough to almost reach his eyes, it is very shaggy and most would say poorly kept. The teeth in his mouth, however, are a very pearly white and it is obvious that he does practice good hygiene. On another note, his teeth are all very sharp and pointy and kind of sharkish so watch out for those. Ozai's body structure is exactly that of a typical human; weighing in at a well defined 200 lbs and standing at 6'2" it's not exactly easy to miss him in a crowd.

Ozai's body is covered in tattoos from head to fingertips to toes, the most notable two would be the hash marks tallying his kills(13) on his right biceps and the word death spelled across his fingers on both hands. His body is very rough to the touch due to being war-torn and scaley, he prefers to go everywhere barefoot and can no longer feel pain in the bottom of his feet. Bandages cover-up from his waistband to just below his belly button and the bottoms of his black pants are wrapped ending halfway down his shins. His upper body is covered with a sleeveless black trenchcoat and no undershirt. Overtop of that is the Kirigakure sporting the Hoshigaki symbol on the back, it is also conveniently sleeveless. When carrying a sword it is located on the lower back hanging sideways just above the waistline.

Personality:
Typically when you look at Ozai in the face you are met with a simple smile and a look that makes it seem as if no one is home. Ozai spends quite a bit of time in his own mind on various things; "whats for breakfast today.", "should I stab the man in the face or the back?", and "maybe I should start collecting eyes today." He is a very calm and collected being known for his ferocity in battle, it brings no tear to his eye to kill a man and when you see his teeth show you should probably run. Bloodlust and predatory instincts flow through his veins making him quite the fighter and when you combine that with the fact he is quite the thinker things just get deadly. It is very scary knowing that the person next to you is a fully functioning man of society on the outside, but on the inside is a murderous psychopath.

When it came down to school Ozai always put in extra time with the books because he often had difficulty comprehending things. However, it came too naturally to Ozai when he was competing as a ninja with the other students easily besting them due to his genes. This allowed his ostracization to come much more swift and with ease as the other kids bullied him for not only his looks but that he couldn't keep up mentally. Ozai did not let this hinder his progress, continuing to work well into most nights he would develop a work ethic unlike any other.

Hate turned his heart black and eventually when the time came Ozai had no remorse for any of his actions. In his mind, he would do anything that he wanted and nothing will get in his way. As Ozai matured his mind calmed a bit and he was able to quell most thoughts, but instead of neutralizing them he burned them to his will making them his ninja way. He also never allowed for it to get in his way when respecting people, if you want respect from Ozai show him power and he will answer with respect and a following.

The fun side of Ozai hardly ever shows itself, besides in battle but we won't count that. There are a minuscule amount of things that Ozai truely enjoys but a well-forged blade or a good hunting trip are a decent idea to catch his interest. They are very simple activities yet they help him clam the inner beast and keep himself grounded.

Character History:
Life before the academy is essentially a blur for Ozai, as soon as most Hoshigaki children show promise they're thrown to the sharks. Ozai was about 9 when he entered the academy and that's when hell began. He had 0 issues with any of the jutsu or physical requirements, his struggles were with the books they had no place in his life. It made it easier for kids to bully him besides his looks and that's when the fights started happening. Ozai never lasted on any genin team and bounced from one to another to another. Officially most genin never are tasked with a C-rank mission but the Mizukage wanted a full test of Ozai's abilities. A duo of bandits had been terrorizing local fisherman,
they were easily dispatched by the cell and led to Ozais first official kill.

Due to the internal conflicts and the success of the mission the Mizukage took it upon himself to promote Ozai to a Chunin. Ozai would spend all of his early teens and a good hunk of his late teens as a Chunin. The beginning of his accomplishments were minuscule and irrelevant until two years had passed. Ozai had been anticipating this moment ever since he was first bounced from his initial team. By this time all the genin that Ozai was enrolled with were now "at his level". The exams were upon them which racked Ozai up another 2 kills and a failed Chunin exam. He took his time breaking down two of his classmates using their weaknesses against them forcing them to endure physical pain for all the mental distress they caused him. In the third round, he had failed to capitalize and his opponent had held out until the match was called a draw. Thus Ozai would spend another year as a Chunin completing various missions in time executing more and more everytime before he finally caught Mizukage's eye and he was evaluated for promotion to Jounin.

"Only on one condition shall I grant you the right to be a Jounin. You must go out into the wild and prove yourself." Ozai then left the village with nothing but the clothes on his back. His mission was to take down a missing Chunin and return his headband to the village. Snow covered the ground making it simple for Ozai to follow the boy's footprints leading him to a cave at which the nin made his home. This task was trivial and Ozai was a storm coming for the missing-nin. He took off full speed into the cave diving at the boy and taking him to the ground. Blood splatters began to cover the cave walls as Ozai's fists reigned down on the boy cracking multiple bones in his face. Ozai laughed manacially before jabbing his fingers into the boys eyes and ripping the band from his head. He left the boy in a pool of his own blood making his way back into the village. The headband made a hard clang sound as it hit the stone floor a the kage's feet.
