Fire meets the Mist

Kazue was glad that her opponent proved to be somewhat capable as he managed to block her kick, even if it was only a portion of her full strength behind the blow. He seemed to want more as he came at her with a couple of kicks, the first of which connected, though it did little damage. She would raise her hand to catch his other foot, intent on throwing him with her full strength towards one of the walls of the rather large room.  If successful it would prove a simple task as she was very strong. He would be sent fliying until he hit the wall, unless he could correct himself but then she would be able to hear him and resume her attack.

Should her attempt somehow fail, as though she sensed that she had superior strength and durability, they had very similar speed so he could possibly avoid her grapple. Should this be the case, she would lash out with a powerful punch followed by an axe kick which should send him crashing into the floor. If this attack failed, she was rather open to some form of counter attack, but with her two strategies and knowing her own sttengths and a bit of his weaknesses from this recent scuffle, her strategy was sound.

Kazue certainly was a handful even blinded. But Sato wasn't letting up either as he begun to adjust to the situation. Their favorite weapon, eyesight, taken away from them. However was an adept fighter in her own right. The Konoha's Elite dodged his first kick and was able to grab his second one easily. She was immensely strong as her grab turned into a strategic throw.

He was picked up and thrown over her shoulder, however he was able to angle himself in mid-air and recovered himself. He landed a few meters back and even skidded back more before coming to a stop. Satomi could hear Kazue resume the attack and begun to counterattack as well. He held his hands up in a guard position. Preparing to parry her next attack rather high or low he return with a right arm body blow.

Kazue had resumed her attack, rushing to the position she had heard him land in. It was quite obvious that both of them were skilled when it came to hand to hand combat. Sending a punch directly to his midsection, she would be surprised when he would turn it into a parry. It was quite clear that this Kiri Uchiha never had to rely on his sharingan either, as both of them were fighting quite skillfuly without the ability to see properly. Kazue could feel her eyes adjusting to the newfound power within them, but it was still much too soon to remove the coverings and allow these new eyes to grace the outside world.

If only she had spent a bit more time learning definitive taijutsu techniques, maybe she would have a bigger advantage than just a pure physical strength, but alas, she lacked that specified training, instead focusing more intently on mastering various forms of ninjutsu and her sharingan.

The body blow was firm, Sato could feel it as Kazue indeed did resume her attack. Holding his hands out directly, he was able to leave reflect and parry Kazue's strong punch. And managed to return the favor sending her a just as firm body blow. There was a spark, almost like a rekindling of a memory. He was starting to feel the power in his eyes returning as his body was getting its equlibrium back to its original standing.

But it still felt raw, like the power wasn't quite there yet however. It did feel like it was festering in his eyes, even to his body. Sato backed away a meter or two and said, "You are indeed adept at fighting. Who taught you? The Lord Hokage?"

Kazue blocked the blow just as he had parried her own. He was skilled, they clearly didn't just hand out their ANBU positions in the Land of Water. The man clearly had plenty of experience in combat. Hearing his compliment she replied with a feint punch that was in reality a low kick intent to take his legs out from under him that would begin just as her punch hit. "Yes, I was taught a lot by my father, my Genin sensei having passed on. You are also a good fighter Satomi-san. Though, I have spent a majority of my training in life fighting a blind man, so you are only second there I'm afraid." She would say refferring to Kosuke. She could feel the pressure building behind her eyes as they battled it out, she was so lose to being able to bring her eyes out, but it just wasn't enough time yet. She continued to push chakra into her coils as they did battle though, hoping it would happen any moment.

"Then there is much to learn from the Hokage. Like the true history of the Uchiha," Satomi said resuming his fight. Even without their Sharingan active they were still able to flow along with the fight. With a smooth grace similar to the powers innate in the Sharingan. She was still able to block his punch and he assumed that she would retort as well. However switching it up he could hear a slight movement coming his way from around her arms. A punch? He prepared to cover his head to block but completely missed the feint and a kick swept right under his feet.

Caught off guard slightly, he used the momentum to recover however. The kick swept his left leg upwards causing him to fall to his left. He used his left hand to catch the fall and used it to maneuver his body into a twirling kick on the ground to create space and to hopefully send a double heel kick to Kazue.

She was most certainly caught off guard by his kick, though she managed to raise her shin to block. So, he was curious as to the truth of his heritage? He wanted to know the history of the clan? It was something that was shrouded in mystery even to those within the clan as a lot of the older history wasn't properly recorded and was only passed from clan head to clan head by word of mouth. Though, the middle of a fight probably wasn't the best time to be thinking of these things. Flipping backwards she continued to focus her chakra on her eyes, she could feel the coils growing. It wouldn't be long before her eyes manifested and she couldn't wait to see how much stronger they were than her older eyes. She backflipped a ways away, wanting to put a bit more space between the two of them. Perhaps it was time to make things a bit more interesting?

The maneuver was successful in creating the space the Kiri Uchiha desired. He could hear her back flip backwards several meters away. There was a slight drawing as Satomi was able to feel some power stagnant and not yet ready to burst. But it seemed like a birth, a cocoon ready burst into something much more. He began to channel chakra into his eyes, baiting the eyes to heal faster. To no avail as usual, but he could feel they were nearly accessible. It could only be a matter of time.

He stood up and straight. Looking like his shadows silhouette. "Perhaps you are feeling what I am feeling Kazue," Satomi said with a rather strange eagerness in this newfound power.

What would it feel like? Would it give him the same blinding pain and searing blindness such as the Mangekyo Sharingan. From Kosuke's mouth, he said all of such things would be gone. He could only hope.
